Classic Auto Restoration ServicesBob first qualified as a mechanic in England, in 1977, but that was not the beginning of his passion for cars. Even before then, he lived and breathed cars! Bob worked in independent garages for a few years, but really found his niche in life when he joined the Royal Automobile Club as a breakdown mechanic. He was continually one of the Top Patrols in the company; number 23 out of 50! The RAC gave him the opportunity to do what he loved best - the opportunity to work on all makes of cars and at the same time gain a massive database of experience. Bob's work ethic with the RAC was to give the customer his very best efforts at getting them back on the road and he was always willing to go the extra mile to do this. His greatest satisfaction came from attending a desperate customer at a roadside breakdown and seeing the relief on their face when he resolved the problem, without them having to be towed....
